Unilever Migrates Crucial Risk Software

Global manufacturer has announced today that it shall be moving its risk software over to cloud computing.

Unilever was already using Citicus One software for monitoring and managing many of its critical enterprise systems and also to support the internal IT infrastructure.

Unilever's information security manager, Victoria Guilloit said, "We have migrated our service to ensure that our risk software is always up-to-date, properly protected and fully managed to a 'best practice' standard. By not having to run and manage the application and its infrastructure internally, we can free our risk team to focus on core tasks - and reduce our IT support costs."

Unilever also recently extended its €1bn outsourcing contract with BT Global Services in a technology refresh deal worth an extra £144m.
