Now in its 16th year, the 42 Under 42 reveals the regions top achievers within big and small business with diverse stories of success. The scheme not only rewards the successful, but uncovers business gems, individuals and companies yet to fully enter the public domain.

Throughout the year we come across; award winners, people who complete ambitious management buyouts, people who raise funds to expand their businesses and entrepreneurs starting up from scratch.

Jones set up UKFast in 1999 and the company was this year named best business hosting provider at the ISPA Awards for the second year running. The UKFast network plays host to names such as Sky Interactive and Sainsbury's and the company has doubled in size every year. Turnover for 2006 is expected to reach £3.6m
