Manchester based UKFast, Internet solutions provider to Sale Sharks among others beat off competition from Tiscali and Mistral to be crowned Best Hosting Provider 2005. Managing director Lawrence Jones was on hand in London to accept the gong.

"We are hugely proud of our hosting solutions," he said. "It's an area of business where we really get to interact with our customers and this award adds strength to the belief that our team is the best in the country at delivering performance, reliability and care."
