Three Manchester Firms in Deloitte's Fast 50

Three firms from the Greater Manchester area are featured in Deloitte's annual Fast 50 awards.

Manchester-based UKFast ranked at 28th, Rawtenstall-based 2ergo ranked 43rd and Wigan-based Valueworks ranked at 46th in the accountancy firm's national ranking of the country's fastest-growing technology companies.

Jodi Birkett, technology media and telecoms partner for Deloittle in Manchester, said that software and internet companies dominated the list.

"It is not just technology that makes these companies leaders in their sectors - it is about the quality of the people and their intellectual property," she said.
