Blair falls victim to Google Bomb

Tony Blair is the World’s Number 1 liar – according to the world’s biggest Internet search engine, Google.

Web users inputting the word ‘liar’ are taken straight to a page on the official Tony Blair Website, www.direct.gov.uk.

This is the result of a technique known as ‘Google Bombing’. So many users have created hyperlinks from their won sites to Blair’s saying ‘Blair is a liar’ that Google’s search software calculates that he must be the world’s prime example of one.
