Intuit's Online Services Affected by Widespread Outages

Intuit said today that it is experiencing outages on a number of its online services, including Quicken, Quickbooks and Turbo Tax. The outages began sometime Tuesday night.

A company spokesperson said the outages appeared to be related to a maintenance issue but that the company was working on restoring service. Turbo Tax service was starting to be restored already.

The outage did not compromise any data, the company said. We'll update this post when all services are fully restored.

We've received numerous email reports from ZDNet readers trying to figure out what was going on. Based on the emails, the outages have been going on for at least 12 hours.
