PartyGaming and Empire settle online poker dispute

A legal dispute between two of the largest online gaming companies was settled on Tuesday when PartyGaming agreed to buy the EmpirePoker.com site from Empire Online for $250m (£144m) in cash.

Empire had initially sought $1bn in damages from PartyGaming following a contract dispute between the two companies.
