Rackspace Hosting, Inc. (NYSE:RAX), a leading hosting services provider, today announced that World's Legacy, a new worldwide concept to store life stories digitally, has selected Rackspace for backup and storage. The digital platform where anyone can leave his or her life story, including photos, videos and audio clips, chose Rackspace because of its high quality levels.

World's Legacy (www.worldslegacy.com) provides a platform for everyone who has a story to tell. Users can choose whether they want to share their story with the world or only with people they know. The site will initially have an English and Dutch version. Later French, German and Spanish versions will be added.

World's Legacy, which tells its customers that data will be stored for eternity, said the ultra reliable data storage provided by Rackspace is a must.

Michael Geerdink, founder of World's Legacy said: "We believe that Rackspace is the only supplier who could enable us to keep our promises to our customers. We know that other companies for whom data storage is crucial have chosen Rackspace for a good reason."

Anthony Carter, Rackspace country manager for Benelux said: "World's Legacy launches an innovative project and those that use it will expect a high level of service to ensure their memories are retained and accessible. Rackspace's Fanatical Support(R: 62.60, -0.88, -1.38%) commitment to customer service will help World's Legacy to fulfill their users' expectations. World's Legacy and Rackspace seem to share the same approach- we both strive to keep our promises."
