Fans have one more day to cast votes for their favorite blogs among a list of finalists in a wide array of categories. Voting closes at 10 p.m. US Eastern time today.

The contest recognized the best in various regions, for hobbies, talents and more. There's a best blog for the Middle East and Africa, one for other Asia and one for Australia and New Zealand. There are also categories for: funniest, food, entertainment, politics, writing, taglines, Web applications, computers and technology, community and lifetime achievement.

The awards site reports that there were thousands of nominees chosen from the millions of bloggers worldwide. They have been whittled down to 151 finalists, and there will be 30 winners.

The contest includes three new categories this year. They are: Best Podcast of a Weblog, Best Craft Weblog and Best Teen Weblog. Winners will be recognized in March during a ceremony in Austin, Texas. They will receive 2006 cents and goods donated by bloggers.
